Silky skin after tanning: the moisturising routine that makes all the difference
From the lukewarm shower to the lotion with aloe and niacinamide: a practical guide to fixing your tan and preventing flaking and dryness.
An even tan is not only created in the cabin: 50 % of the result depends on how you treat your skin in the hours that follow. Targeted moisturising prevents 'peeling', fixes the colour and leaves the skin soft.
1 - Shower within 2 hours
- Warm water (max. 37 °C) and detergent pH 5.5.
- Avoid abrasive sponges: just massage with your hands to remove UV-induced perspiration.
2 - Lotion within 30 min
Opt for formulas with:
- Aloe Vera > 20 % (soothing and refreshing effect)
- Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) to repair micro-damage to the skin
- Niacinamide 2 4 % (vitamin B3) to strengthen the lipid barrier and improve elasticity
3 - Night boosters
Before bed, apply a body milk with 5 % urea and jojoba oil. Night is the time of maximum cell regeneration.
4 - Inside-out strategy
- Drink 500 ml of water immediately after the session.
- Supplement omega 3 (walnuts, linseed) which reduces dryness.
- Add vitamin C (500 mg): cooperates with collagen and enhances the Beauty Light effect.
5 - Soft exfoliation every 7 days
Sugar scrub + coconut oil: removes dead cells without removing colour, in fact evens out the tone.
Conclusion
A proper moisturising routine transforms a tan from 'lamp-coloured' to a natural glow, helping the skin to regenerate and maintain elasticity. All it takes is a few constant gestures.
Hang this list in the bathroom: after your next Blue Light session, put it into practice and feel the difference!
